Heather, I printed out letters in Word, taped them in place over my patterned scrapbooking paper, and cut them all out. It was easier than I thought it would be (and I was able to layer and do all of my "a" and "y" and other letters at once, so I didn't have to cut out each individually). I think I'll make banners for other occasions, too!
Glad to have found your blog! (through the Huffington post article on Ayyam-i-Ha). I blog at http://veritabletreasure.blogspot.com/ and http://www.enablemetogrow.com/ it's always nice to find other Baha'i mommy bloggers :-)
