When I'm emotional — stressed, sad, angry or generally wound up — I organize. If I spontaneously get up off the couch in the middle of watching a TV show and start pulling everything out of a cupboard or a drawer, husband knows something's up and asks what's on my mind.

There are definitely worse coping mechanisms to have, I suppose. What do you do to blow off steam?
I am exactly the same -- I think it's a great coping strategy! It helps you calm down, because you're feeling in control of something, and productive.
